Star Labo is a software development business based in Kyoto, Japan.
We plan, develop, publish and maintain applications for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, together with the Mac, Windows and Linux software that supports them.
What we do

- We build applications for iOS, iPadOS and tvOS using Apple's standard technologies, developed and published in-house.
- Server software
- We develop the companion server software for Mac, Windows and Linux that our applications connect to.
- Sales and maintenance
- We sell our software through the App Store and provide ongoing maintenance and user support after release.
Upcoming application
Neo Video
Neo Video plays the videos and photos stored on your computer on an iPhone, iPad or Apple TV on the same network. It is designed so that files are never uploaded to a cloud service — everything stays within your home network. We are currently preparing it for release on the App Store.
